Ek thi Ekta daayan!

Ekta Kapoor is never out of ideas when it comes to showing women in poor roles. So it isn't surprising when she makes a movie on daayan(witch). 

Well ofcourse one can make movies on witches. Personal favorite being Harry Potter.

But Ekta being Ekta has just shifted her main plot from serials to the big screen. A good woman v/s an evil woman.

 So u see, we have three good actresses Huma Qureshi as the seductress, Konkana Sen as we are guessing a witch and Kalki Koechlin as the reincarnated Konkana (again acting psychotic) involved in the life of another shorty Emraan Hashmi playing the role of a wizard/magician who believes the tales he heard from his mother, sketches and searches for witches. Interesting and not at all screwed up.

Oh and by the way,it is supposed to be a horror movie. Yeah, we were pretty horrified/amused by the "mai aarahi hoon" in the trailers. Going by Indian standards we are sure this is going to be a very amusing movie.

A guaranteed superhit this movie would have been if Ekta had acted in this movie as herself. No need for even a costume designer. She pretty much dresses like a daayan too.

Let's see what the public reaction will be to this controversy-hit movie.
